MISP is working to develop the following State-level projects and programs:

ACEQUIAnet
ACEQUIAnet will be a State-wide Education and Collaboration Network, linking schools, communities, and professional centers.

The Innovation Institute
The Institute will be a media technology commercialization powerhouse, working with all New Mexico R&D centers to create products, businesses, and competitive advantage for the cluster.

University Interdisciplinary Center
A UNM-wide fusion of relevant domains, from computer science and fine arts, to law, medicine, business, and journalism.

National Center of Excellence
The Center of Excellence will focus on media applications to Homeland and National Security and Defense.

Commercial Campus
The epicenter of the cluster, the commercial campus will be a state-of-the-art production and distribution complex for content and technology.

Workforce & Professional Development
Coordinated efforts from K-20 to maximize the long-term impact of the Plan, and to rapidly build film crews and a digital workforce.

Hispanic Hollywood
New Mexico can become a center for Spanish language and Hispanic cultural content, one of the fastest-growing markets in the industry.
